DEPOSIT
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required.
Payment of the deposit signifies acceptance of the final contract agreed upon by the Client and the Artist [Susan J Griffin].

COMPLETION DATE
To be determined by Client and Artist. A letter-sized portrait takes 2-3 weeks, depending on my workload.

SHIPPING
Shipping cost from NY State, in the US, is paid by the Client.
Cost is determined upon completion of the art work.

DETAILS OF THE ARTWORK
To be determined by Artist and Client.
Art work in pastel, graphite, or mixed media (pastel/graphite/watercolor) is available.

RIGHT OF REFUSAL
The Client retains the right to not purchase commissioned artwork at any time.
All deposits paid are non-refundable.
This statement relieves the Artist of being indebted to the Client if this occurs.

COMPLETION OF COMMISSION
Approval
The Artist will supply images of the completed work for the Client’s approval.
If the Customer has not paid in full then the images will be watermarked. 
The final artwork will not be watermarked.

REVISIONS
I do not make revisions.
If the Client is unhappy with the final art work, they may refuse to purchase (see ‘Right of Refusal’ above)

COPYRIGHT
Artist retains copyright of the produced artwork in perpetuity.
The Client has permission to share the work publicly and place it on display.
Any reproduction of the work is strictly prohibited unless the Client purchases a Limited Use License, parameters of which to be determined at the time of its issuance.
